Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 September 2026
Overview
Boitshoko Consulting ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of everyone who visits this website or gets in touch with us. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Information we collect
When you use the contact form on this site, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect payment information through this website.
Like most websites, we also collect limited technical information automatically — such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site — through analytics tools described below.
How we use your information
Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your enquiry, for example to answer a question about our services or to arrange an appointment. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Aggregated, anonymised analytics data helps us understand which pages are useful and improve the site over time.
Third-party services we use
Contact form messages are delivered via Resend, an email delivery provider, and protected against automated abuse using Vercel BotID before being sent to our inbox.
We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand site traffic in aggregate. These services may use cookies or similar technologies; no personally identifying contact details are shared with them.
Appointment bookings are handled by a third-party scheduling provider (Acuity/Health Hub Appointment Booking) when you choose to book through the link on this site — that provider's own privacy practices apply to information you submit there.
Data retention
We keep contact form enquiries only for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and maintain a record of client communication, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under POPIA, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal or record-keeping requirements. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@boitshoko-consulting.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
